About Capital City Equipment
Built on knowing what the job needs.
Leadership
President & CEO
Daniel Donnelly leads Capital City Equipment from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His background is in the equipment rental and construction service industries, where he saw how much a project depends on getting the right machine, at a fair price, at the right time.
Today, Daniel works with contractors, subcontractors, and equipment companies to source equipment, weigh rental and purchase options, and broker deals that work for everyone involved.
When you call Capital City Equipment, you talk to the person making the decisions. No call center, no handoff, no waiting on someone two states away.
Our story
On your side of the deal.
Capital City Equipment is a construction equipment consulting company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We come from the equipment rental and construction service industries, and we started this company to help contractors, subcontractors, and equipment companies make better equipment decisions.
A dealer sells what is on their lot. We start with your job, then find the machine, the terms, and the source that fit it, from our own yard or from our network of trusted vendors.
Job first, machine second
We ask about the site, the scope, and the schedule before we talk about a unit, so the machine fits the work.
Across brands and sources
Link-Belt, Doosan, Kubota, SANY and more. We are not locked into one brand, so we can point you to what actually fits.
Rent, buy, or broker
Our own yard when it fits, our network when it does not. One call covers it.
How we work
From first call to final day.
1
Talk it through
Tell us about the job, the site, the timeline, and the budget.
2
Match the machine
We weigh sizes, attachments, and rent versus buy against what the work needs.
3
Source and secure
From our yard or our network, we line up the unit and the terms.
4
Stay on call
If something changes or breaks down, we help sort it out fast.
